About New City Ministries Fellowship Church

Pastor Clayton B. Lewis is pastor and founder of New City Ministries Fellowship Church. He is a native of the Hampton Roads VA area. He relocated to Laurel, Maryland with his lovely wife Sharon in 1989. He gave his life to Christ in 1994 and distinctly heard the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He officially accepted his calling into the ministry in 2002. He was licensed in 2005 and ordained in 2011.

Pastor Lewis served as an associate pastor at First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Maryland under the leadership of Senior Pastor, John K. Jenkins, Sr.

 

In 1994 God gave him a vision to reach family and friends with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In that pursuit, in 2002 Pastor Lewis and First Lady Sharon launched New City Ministries. Under its umbrella were “Family Focus Ministry,” which helped teach families and individuals the Word of God through conferences and seminars, and “Beyond the Walls Ministry,” an evangelistic outreach ministry that helped to meet needs and spread the gospel within communities.

 

In obedience to God’s calling and vision, Pastor Lewis and Lady Sharon returned to the Hampton Roads area and launched New City Ministries Fellowship Church May 7, 2017. The ministry hinges on its mission and vision; to help transform lives for Christ through seeking the salvation of the lost, sowing the word of God for spiritual success, serving to support the needs of others, and sending out to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
